Chance the Rapper & Jeremih reunite for surprise Christmas EP “Secret Santa”

Chicago heavyweights Chance the Rapper and Jeremih have revived their festive partnership, gifting fans a surprise five-track EP titled Secret Santa on Christmas Eve, per complex.com.

Released via SoundCloud, the project continues a long-standing seasonal tradition for the duo. The EP features tracks such as “Safe With Me,” “Black Santa” and “Gloria,” blending Chance’s trademark optimistic lyricism with Jeremih’s smooth R&B vocals.

The duo teased the release on Instagram just hours before it went live, sharing a snippet of “Safe With Me” and asking followers if they should drop the music immediately. This spontaneous rollout mirrors the energy of their previous holiday collaborations, which began with the 2016 mixtape Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama.

Speaking on their creative chemistry, Jeremih has previously noted that their holiday projects often come together organically during impromptu studio sessions.

The celebrations continue tomorrow, as Chance is scheduled to host a “Day After Christmas AfterParty” in Chicago. All proceeds from the event will benefit SocialWorks, his youth-focused non-profit organisation, ensuring the musical release has a direct positive impact on the local community.
