Celine Dion has officially confirmed her return to the stage with a residency at the Paris La Défense Arena this autumn, per variety.com. The pop icon unveiled the news during a birthday celebration at the Café de l’Homme, where a video message was projected onto the Eiffel Tower in tribute to her career.
Addressing her fans via the broadcast, Dion expressed her gratitude for their support during her hiatus. “I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life,” she said. “I’m getting the chance to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September.”

The concert series marks Dion’s first major live performances since she stepped away from the spotlight in 2022 following her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome. Her journey and health battle were recently documented in the film “I Am: Celine Dion.” The upcoming shows are expected to feature her greatest hits in both English and French, celebrating a career that has spanned decades.
The announcement follows days of teaser campaigns across the French capital, including rehearsals that saw the Eiffel Tower illuminated with messages of “Paris, I’m ready.” This comeback follows her emotional performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, which initially sparked rumours of her return.
The residency is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 12 September, with ten dates currently confirmed through to mid-October. Tickets are expected to be in high demand, with an artist pre-sale starting on 7 April, followed by a general sale on 10 April.
