Cardi B’s thrown microphone now on sale for a hefty price tag

The microphone that Cardi B famously hurled into a Las Vegas crowd in 2023 is once again on the market, with the new owner hoping to get a staggering $1 million for the iconic item, per hiphopwired.com.

The incident, which went viral, occurred when a concertgoer threw a drink at the rapper during her performance. In response, Cardi B tossed her microphone into the crowd, striking an attendee. That woman subsequently filed a lawsuit, claiming she was the only person hit by the mic despite others also throwing water.

The microphone was initially listed on eBay by the sound engineer who originally owned it, with trolls bidding the price up and preventing a legitimate sale. It eventually sold for $2,550.

The new, anonymous owner of the microphone now has it listed for a cool million but is open to offers. He told TMZ he’s already received an offline offer of $40,000 and plans to donate a portion of the proceeds to the NAACP. The seller also gave the woman suing Cardi B the opportunity to purchase the microphone first, but she was not interested.
