Cardi B says Beyoncé’s tour operates on a different level

Cardi B has opened up about the gruelling demands of life on the road, admitting that the precision of a Beyoncé performance is something she simply cannot replicate, per billboard.com. In a candid new cover story for Allure, the Bronx-born rapper confessed that while she studied the record-breaking Cowboy Carter Tour as research for her own shows, she found the level of choreography intimidating.

The “Little Miss Drama” star revealed an aversion to complex dance routines, comparing the process of learning movements to solving difficult equations. She noted that while she can rap indefinitely, the rhythmic demands of professional dancing feel “removed” from her natural skillset. During rehearsals for her current trek, the 33-year-old even joked with her younger backup dancers about the difficulty of keeping up with their high-energy pace.

Beyond the physical demands of the stage, Cardi is navigating the logistical headache of parenting three children while touring. With her eldest daughter, Kulture, now in a strict school routine and her son involved in extracurricular sports, the rapper dismissed the idea of bringing them on the road. She expressed the universal struggle of the working mother, questioning how to balance a No. 1 album and a sold-out tour with the grounded needs of her family life.

Cardi’s Little Miss Drama Tour continues through mid-April, marking her most successful live run to date following the chart-topping success of her latest studio album. Despite her self-deprecating comments on her dancing, the tour remains a commercial powerhouse, though the rapper clearly prefers the microphone to the dance floor.
