Cardi B hits back at critics over Stefon Diggs relationship

Cardi B has called for a “reset” from fans, defending her relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs following a wave of festive period criticism, per music-news.com.

The Grammy-winning rapper took to X on Monday to address followers who slammed Diggs for spending Christmas with his children from previous relationships, rather than with Cardi and their newborn son.

“Y’all need to calm down,” the 33-year-old told the camera in a candid video. “Y’all been dragging me for three or four days, and y’all been a little too mean. I can’t go back in time. We can only go forward now.”

The couple welcomed their first child together in November, though they have yet to publicly reveal the infant’s name. Cardi also shares three children; Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and 14-month-old Blossom, with her estranged husband, Offset.

The “Up” hitmaker urged her “support system” to stop the negativity as she prepares for her upcoming 35-date Little Miss Drama Tour. The tour, supporting her second studio album Am I the Drama?, is scheduled to launch on 11 February.

“I’m gonna be away from my babies, away from my personal life… I need my fans to love me,” she added. “Don’t be dragging me. That’s enough!”

The star officially filed for divorce from Migos rapper Offset in July 2024, though the legal proceedings remain ongoing.
