Burna Boy is set to make a triumphant return to the UK with an exclusive performance at Manchester’s Co-Op Live on April 21, 2025, per sunderlandecho.com. The announcement comes as the Grammy Award-winning Nigerian superstar prepares to launch his highly anticipated eighth studio album, “No Sign of Weakness.”
The performance marks a significant milestone for the artiste, whose previous album Love, Damini broke records as the highest-charting Nigerian debut on both the Billboard 200 and UK album charts.
Born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, he has established himself as a global music phenomenon, particularly following his 2021 Grammy win for Twice as Tall in the Best Global Music Album category.
Fans can expect to hear both classic hits like “Like to Party” and fresh material from the upcoming album, including the recently released single “Bundle by Bundle” at the Manchester show, which promises to be a showcase of the artiste’s signature fusion of Afrobeats, dancehall and contemporary pop sounds that have earned him international acclaim.
Tickets for this exclusive UK appearance will be available through Seat Unique and Ticketmaster starting December 20, 2024, at 10 am, offering fans a chance to witness one of Africa’s most influential musical exports in a landmark performance.
