Britney Spears reveals harrowing fireplace accident

Britney Spears has shared details of a terrifying incident that occurred in her home six months ago, per eonline.com. The 42-year-old singer took to social media on September 30 to recount a “dangerous” encounter with her fireplace that left her with severe burns and hair loss.

According to Spears, the accident happened when she attempted to light her fireplace independently, despite previous incidents that had made her wary.

“I turned the fire on and, all of a sudden, it blew up in my face,” the “Baby One More Time” hitmaker explained in a video post.

The consequences of the explosion were immediate and alarming. Spears reported losing her eyelashes and eyebrows in the blast, while the intense heat “fizzled” her hair, resulting in noticeable “baby bangs” that are still visible half a year later.

The severity of the situation was compounded by the fact that Spears was alone at the time, with her companion reportedly unresponsive to her calls for help.

“I thought I’d have to go to the emergency room because my face was on fire,” she recounted, describing the pain as too intense even to touch her skin.

After enduring discomfort for what she estimates was “six or seven hours,” Spears found relief through over-the-counter pain medication. While she didn’t confirm whether she sought professional medical attention, the singer assured fans that she has since recovered from the ordeal.
