Brandy announces intimate “Phases” memoir tour

Brandy Norwood has released dates for “A Conversation With Brandy: Phases Book Tour”, a bespoke event series celebrating the release of her highly anticipated debut memoir, per hip-hopvibe.com.

Produced in partnership with Live Nation Urban, the tour features two exclusive dates in Los Angeles and Brooklyn. Departing from the traditional concert format, these evenings focus on live dialogue, personal storytelling, and an unfiltered reflection on Brandy’s three-decade career.

The memoir, titled “Phases,” is set for release on March 31 via Hanover Square Press. It marks the first time the “Vocal Bible” has shared her journey in her own words, tracing her evolution from a Mississippi church choir to becoming a multi-platinum artist and television trailblazer.

While Brandy’s public achievements, including the era-defining Moesha and her historic turn as Disney’s first Black Cinderella, are well-documented, “Phases” promises a deeper look at the price of fame. The book explores the pressures of early stardom, the weight of public expectation, and her journey toward self-awareness and healing.

The tour will visit two iconic venues selected for their cultural resonance, Montalbán Theatre, Los Angeles, CA on March 29 andBrooklyn Paramount, Brooklyn, NY on April 1.

In a move to ensure the event remains an extension of the literary experience, every ticket purchased includes a copy of the memoir.

“This is not a performance; it is an exchange,” a representative stated. “The tour offers fans a rare opportunity to understand the woman behind the voice, without filters or expectations.”
