Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles residence was reportedly “ransacked” by three thieves late Wednesday night while the Oscar-winning star was in the United Kingdom, according to bbc.com. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed a burglary at an address matching Pitt’s Los Feliz home, where suspects gained entry through a front window and made off with an undisclosed amount of items.
The incident occurred around 10:30pm local time. Authorities have not yet confirmed the value of the stolen goods. Pitt was across the Atlantic for the London premiere of his new film, F1, which is set to hit cinemas today, accompanied by fellow celebrities Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton.
This latest celebrity home invasion follows a concerning trend in Los Angeles, with recent targets including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Just last month, a man was arrested for allegedly ramming his vehicle into the gate of Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston’s home.
