Bidemi Olaoba commits to God with new single “Available”

Bidemi Olaoba, the Nigerian gospel singer and worship leader widely celebrated as the Live Wire of Praise, has released a new single, “Available,” a rousing declaration of spiritual commitment that blends African gospel rhythms with a distinctly communal energy.

Born Abidemi Ayodeji Ogunmolu, Olaoba has built his ministry around vibrant, participatory praise, fusing Gospel Highlife with Fuji influences. The new single continues in that tradition, presenting faith as an active, conscious choice rather than a passive inheritance.

“Available” centres on total surrender to God, with lyrics that draw a sharp line between devotion and spiritual distraction. The repeated refrain “I’m sold out to Christ” anchors the song’s message, while lines such as “Jesus when you call me, I no go decline” and “Devil no go see me, I’m unavailable” reinforce a posture of unwavering loyalty.

The track also weaves gratitude into its theology, invoking the biblical account of the one leper who returned to give thanks to Jesus, a quiet reminder, amid the celebratory fervour, to remain anchored in thankfulness.

Musically, the song carries the lively, chant-driven energy for which Olaoba is known, with strong call-and-response sections designed to draw congregations in. Yoruba and Igbo expressions, including “Olorun” and “Chukwu Ebube,” give the release a broad pan-Nigerian resonance, making it well suited to church gatherings, crusades and open-air praise celebrations.

“Available” is out now on all major streaming platforms.
