This 448-page opus, according to a statement, pays homage to two towering figures in Nigerian journalism, Dele Giwa and Dimgba Igwe, whose untimely deaths sent shockwaves through the nation.
Dele Giwa, the dynamic founder of Newswatch, met his tragic demise on October 19, 1986, through a parcel bomb. Dimgba Igwe, renowned for his astute journalism and co-founding The Sun newspaper, passed away under controversial circumstances on September 6, 2014. Arinze’s dedication to these luminaries underscores his commitment to preserving their legacy and ensuring their contributions to the profession are never forgotten.
