Nigerian artist Ayo Benzi has released his debut EP, Heat and Heart, available now on all major streaming platforms via ONErpm.
Benzi rose to prominence in December 2025 when he won the first edition of the Next Afrobeats Star reality show, where he was guided by producer Puffy Tee.
The EP is his formal entry into the music industry following that victory.
The four-track project opens with “Oil Dey My Head,” a song about purpose and gratitude that acknowledges both personal effort and the support around him. The mood shifts on “Alone,” where Benzi centres devotion and the steadiness of a meaningful relationship, before “Faraway” introduces a more playful tone, exploring attraction and romantic tension. The EP closes with the uptempo “Loko”.
