A-list actors named at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial include Michael B. Jordan, Kanye West & Kid Cudi

A-list actors and singers had their names mentioned during the jury selection process in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial in New York City, per people.com. The celebrities named included actors Michael B. Jordan and Mike Myers, rappers Kid Cudi and Kanye West, and singers Michelle Williams and Yung Miami.

The potential jurors were reportedly read a list of names to determine whether they knew any of the individuals involved in the case. The judge overseeing the case, Arun Subramanian, joked about the list of celebrity names, saying it felt like reading an appendix from The Lord of the Rings.

While none of the celebrities mentioned are accused of criminal wrongdoing, their names may have been brought up due to their connections to Combs or his ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura, who is the trial’s star witness. Kid Cudi, for instance, was reportedly dating Ventura around the time of an alleged car bombing incident in 2011, which prosecutors claim Combs was involved in. Michael B. Jordan’s name was mentioned possibly due to Combs’ alleged upset over Ventura’s date with him in 2015.

The roles of the other celebrities mentioned in the trial are still unclear, but it’s possible they may be called as witnesses due to their connections to Combs through music and other ventures. The trial continues to draw attention, with many wondering what will unfold in the coming days.
