50 Cent is stepping back into the recording booth, signalling a potential return to the rap dominance that first made him a global icon, according to allhiphop.com. After years spent conquering the television and business worlds, the G-Unit mogul has previewed a new, untitled track that suggests a fresh project, dubbed The Algorithm, is on the horizon.
On Friday, March 13, the Queens legend took to Instagram to share a snippet of the gritty new record. Accompanying a dark piece of artwork, 50 Cent’s caption was typically combative: “Music untitled. I’d f*** these n****s up if they jump me in real life… a bunch of punks. THE ALGORITHM is coming!”

The lyrics find 50 Cent in vintage form, asserting his status at the top of the hip-hop hierarchy. “I’m a boss and the boss is what you’re trying to be,” he raps, before taking aim at corporate structures: “Corporate America seems to be scared of us, there’s no way they’re prepared for us.”
Interestingly, the track appears to be a treasure from the vault. Renowned producer Hit-Boy commented on the post, revealing he produced the beat two decades ago. The “vintage” sound suggests 50 Cent may be revisiting his classic aesthetic for his modern comeback.
The title The Algorithm has been a recurring theme for the rapper in recent months. He has frequently used the phrase in social media posts, often accompanied by superhero imagery and playful jabs at rivals.
