50 Cent has ushered in 2026 by doing what he does best: targeting his rap rivals, per hiphopdx.com. The G-Unit mogul sparked a heated social media exchange with Papoose this week, mocking the Brooklyn rapper’s relationship with champion boxer Claressa Shields.

The spat began when 50 shared a deleted-scene parody from the film Black Sister’s Revenge, with the couple’s faces superimposed onto the characters. In the clip, the boxer appears to slap her partner, prompting 50 to joke: “Now you see that, that’s assault! You can’t just go around putting your hands on people. LOL. Happy New Year!”
Papoose wasted no time in retaliating, hitting back with AI-generated videos of 50 Cent dancing in a strip club wearing a bikini and high heels. He accused the “In Da Club” star of “deflecting” to avoid responding to recent lyrical jabs from Fabolous, Jim Jones and Dave East. “Holla if you need a ghostwriter Champ… I mean Chump!” Papoose added.
The exchange grew more personal as 50 Cent turned his attention to Papoose’s partner, mocking the rapper’s “taste in women” and making disparaging remarks about his appearance. Not to be outdone, Papoose released a second AI video of 50 in a shower cap, questioning why the mogul “gossips so much” and urging him to reconcile with former G-Unit member Lloyd Banks.
As the insults continue to fly, it is clear that 50 Cent has no intention of relinquishing his title as hip-hop’s “pettiest” figure in the new year.
