Brad Arnold, US rock band 3 Doors Down’s lead singer, has shocked fans with a heartfelt Instagram video announcement, revealing his stage four kidney cancer diagnosis, per bbc.co.uk. The 46-year-old singer disclosed that he has clear cell renal carcinoma, which has metastasised to his lung, and will force the band to cancel their summer tour.
“We serve almighty God, and he can overcome anything. So I have no fear. I am really, sincerely not scared of it at all,” Arnold said in the video, expressing his faith and determination. He added, “Now, I believe It’s Not My Time is really my song,” referencing one of the band’s biggest hits.
The band, known for their chart-topping albums and singles like “Kryptonite,” “Here Without You,” and “It’s Not My Time,” have sold over 13 million albums in the US. Fans and prayer warriors have been urged to lift Arnold up in prayer during this challenging time.
